We are sometimes asked the reasoning behind our pricing structure. The truth is that we charge for the real time it takes to expertly coordinate your wedding day. The hours spent at site visits, cake tastings, communicating with photographers, dress fittings, researching videographers, managing the guest list, negotiating for a block of hotel rooms, answering behind-the-scenes phone calls and e-mails (ok, you get the idea) quickly add up. The average wedding planner makes only $20 - $50K a year. There are only so many weekends available we can work, and we cannot work them all in order to provide the best service possible. When it comes down to it, we love what we do, and the prices we charge are for real hours of professional service.
